Two former European champions will clash in Amsterdam with the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying process in its closing chapters. The battle between these UEFA Euro 2020 finalists will commence once more at Wembley. Making a prediction for the match is not an easy task, since both teams are evenly matched in most areas of the pitch. In the last five encounters, the teams are on equal par for results with three draws and a win apiece.

Italy has a better record in this competition, having won it twice in 1968 and 2020, compared to England never having been successful.
